An anniversary truly special

From the moment we checked in, where Luciano was so welcoming, to our dinner, both nights, where Mirco was fun and yet so professional and the food was so delicious, to our daughter’s horseback ride… which she loved… and finally to our absolutely fabulous cooking class and lunch with Domenico… which was truly the highlight of our time there. What a kind, patient and talented man/chef he is. You must be so proud to work in such a extraordinary place and to have such a wonderful staff. Also, my husband and I want to thank you so much for the bottle of Summus that you left for us with reception. We had wanted to order a case of it to send back to the States but did not have time to arrange for that before we left, so you can imagine how thrilled we were to have a bottle to take back home with us. We wanted to save it for a special occasion but couldn’t wait, so we opened it the night after we returned home and talked about our stay at Castello Banfi when we were drinking it. The staff and the service was five star from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The meals at Sala dei Grappoli were some of the best we have every had in all of our travels. The wine tasting dinner was extraordinary!

We had an amazing trip to Italy, and I have to tell you that our time at Castello Banfi was the highlight. What an amazing property and staff you have. I cannot express how impressed we were, and how much we enjoyed our time with you. Your staff were incredibly thoughtful, professional, and hospitable. They had already thought of everything we would need before we needed it, which allowed us to relax during our 2-3 days with you during our very busy trip across your beautiful country. Here are a few highlights that we will remember from our time that I wanted to share: wonderful Welcome and Tour of the property- Juan and front desk team, welcome wines in our room, included breakfast and mini bar, Wifi that worked in the room, wine tasting and the Wine Store- Lisa was terrific and so helpful, Banfi Winery Tour- Serena was great, dinner both nights was incredible- Marco was great and Antonelle was amazing. She made our dinner experience for sure, horseback tour of the fields- Johnny and Sara were terrific. I think Johnny has a video from our day. We'd love to get a copy if you could look into that, lunch by the pool while recovering from our horseback tour, the most incredible views of Tuscany. Thank you so much to you and your team. You have an amazing place, and we hope to return one day. We will definitely recommend it highly to anyone heading your way.

We loved it!
We just completed 3 nights at your hotel and we loved it. The rooms, the property, the staff, the wines.....we're all wonderful. The staff went the extra step for our departure when our afternoon ferry was cancelled and they moved us to the morning, preparing breakfast boxes for our early morning departure. Our stay was AMAZING! Everything was perfect - we cannot imagine a better place and experience in Tuscany. From the accommodations to the wine, the food to the cooking class, the service to the beauty - everything was amazing! We are now in Sorrento, leave for Rome tomorrow, then home on Monday. Our stay at Castello Banfi was exceptional
Our stay at Castello Banfi was exceptional! And we haven’t stopped raving about it.  It made for a memorable honeymoon stay! We truly appreciate the upgrade to the Junior Suite. The room was absolutely beautiful and spacious. I think staying anywhere in the castle would have been just as lovely. Our room was spotless and always clean. The entire grounds of the castle was well taken care of everywhere was clean and always neat. The restaurants were all great and the food and service at every meal was outstanding. We also appreciate the Summus wine that was gifted to us. It is very generous of you to have that sent over to us. We loved all the wines but really loved the Summus so we are excited to try it. We had several different bottles shipped home and can’t wait for them to arrive. The wine tour and tasting was really great, Bernadette gave a great tour. All the employees that we encountered were welcoming and very accommodating, from Victor and Maddalena at the front desk to all the servers at all our meals. We cannot wait to return
We just had an incredible stay at Castello Banfi last weekend. My husband, adult daughter, and I were so impressed with the facilities, the wonderful restaurants, our beautiful room, and the unbelievable view! My wife and I had a wonderful time during our recent visit to Castello Banfi. The accommodations were great and the views spectacular! The staff was very courteous, helpful, and welcoming. We greatly appreciated your generous gift of wine! We tend to be somewhat spontaneous so being able to check on things "last minute" with whomever was at the Desk was comforting. The grounds truly are unique, stunning and yet approachable (as we did on foot & bike)! I am not sure where to start on this one…..the stay was truly magical and I am not sure what you can do to improve. The cooking class with Samuele is possibly one of the best times I have ever had. We arrived tired and hungry on Thursday September 9th to a warm welcome, beautiful room and the lovely surprise of sparking Banfi wine on ice and also your fabulous bottle of Sammus red wine. My wife was overwhelmed with the surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you - it was all fantastic. The cookery class with Samuele was outstanding - he is a wonderful teacher and perfect gentleman and that gorgeous morning will stay with us. Lisa did a lovely wine tour and tasting and we now look forward to the arrival of our Banfi shipment of wine! The atmosphere in Castello Banfi is special and the staff are amazing, so unobtrusive and yet helpful. The food was all delicious and we gained several ponds during our stay!! We could not have chosen a more perfect place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary or my wife's 50th birthday.
